A lower-cost scanner for the milliK, with signal reversal built in to remove thermal EMF errors.
The millisKanner had to be a low-cost scanner for the milliK that was still feature-rich and still performed. The easy route was available and we did not take it.
That easy route would have been to lean on the signal reversal already built into the milliK for voltage measurements. It works, up to a point, but it leaves the thermal EMFs generated in the cabling between the two instruments sitting in the measurement. So we put full signal reversal into the millisKanner itself, which eliminates them, and the result is a scanner that adds channels without costing you performance.
Channels appear in the interface as they are connected, as with the microsKanner.
Metrosol carried out the research, design and development of the millisKanner, working with Isotech from the initial stages. Isotech brings the instrument to market, supplying, calibrating and supporting it worldwide.
